Somewhere deep in England is a house, just an ordinary house, nothing special from the front, but behind it lies the effort of countless hours of digging, weeding, pruning and patience.

You can see this old mining town garden for yourself below, together with a couple of oil paintings.

While I personally cannot take any credit for the majority of work that has gone into the garden, my claim to fame is the digging for the 400 gallon pond.

Over the next few weeks I shall be adding some summer photographs, the ones below really only tell half the story.....
